Dr. Janey Jim, MSc, DC

Dr. Janey Jim graduated Magna Cum Laude from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC) and has received specialty training in Chiropractic Clinical Sciences. She is a graduate of the University of British Columbia with a Masters in Neuroscience. Dr. Jim was a member of Faculty and a Resource Clinician at CMCC.  She has been published in multiple peer-reviewed journals including Spine, Molecular Vision, and Molecular Brain Research.

Dr. Jim practices with a special focus on perinatal care and fitness. She is also a certified Master’s Active Release Techniques (ART) and Graston Technique provider. Dr. Jim played for UBC Ultimate and competed at national and international championships. She has a special interest in helping female athletes.

Dr. Stephen Mogatas, BSN, DC

Dr. Stephen Mogatas graduated from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College as Students’ Council President. He has received numerous awards in recognition of his leadership and contributions to the school and profession. Stephen has been the doctor for Team Canada Ultimate at ten world championships, including the 2013, 2017 and 2022 World Games, and most recently in Australia in 2024. Dr. Mogatas also served as a Director for the The College of Chiropractors of BC for a 3 year term.

Dr. Mogatas is a certified Master’s Active Release Techniques (ART), Selective Functional Movement Systems (SFMA), and Graston Technique provider. He combines his passion for sports science and manual therapy to provide evidence-based treatment for his patients. Dr. Mogatas is also certified as a Complete Concussion Management Practitioner.

Dr. Jamie Magpantay, BSC, DC

Dr. Jamie Magpantay graduated from the University of Western States (UWS) with both her Doctorate of Chiropractic and Bachelor of Science in Biology. She holds additional certifications in Active Release Techniques (ART), Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (SMARTtools), Clinical Neurodynamics, and utilizes cupping therapy. Before her chiropractic training, Dr. Magpantay was studying at Simon Fraser University for her Bachelor’s of Science in Kinesiology. 

Jamie has treated in numerous Crossfit competitions and was one of the team chiropractors for the BCHL’s Vernon Vipers. She combines manual therapy, and exercise therapy that is individualized for each patient. In her spare time, Jamie enjoys hiking, yoga, and Crossfit.

Dr. William Powls, BHKIN, BSC, DC

Dr. William Powls graduated from the University of Western States (UWS) and obtained his Bachelor’s of Human Kinetics from the University of British Columbia. Dr. Powls is Full Body certified in Active Release Techniques (ART) and is a Graston Technique provider, along with Complete Concussion Management and Selective Functional Movement Systems (SFMA).

William enjoys helping patients of all kinds achieve their health goals, whether it be weekend warriors trying to stay injury free, desk workers trying to improve their work day, or athletes trying to complete at their highest level. Each patient is unique and deserves an individualized, evidence based treatment plan. Away from the office, he gets his daily dose of movement with Olympic Weightlifting and playing ultimate frisbee.

Jack has certifications in Active Release Techniques (ART), Functional Movement Screens and Complete Concussion Management.

Jack is passionate about helping individuals achieve a higher level of fitness through manual therapy and education. Outside of clinic, Jack enjoys staying active by participating in various sports, particularly ultimate, bouldering and volleyball. Jack competed on the national and international scale with UBC Ultimate.

Massage Therapy

Sharon Zwick, RMT

Sharon has been a Registered Massage Therapist for 17 years, graduating from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy in 2006. She employs a variety of modalities to help improve the outcomes of her patients, including Myofasical Release techniques, Trigger Point Therapy, Joint Mobilization, and Swedish Massage.

Sharon has always enjoyed an active lifestyle, recently competing in endurance sports such as triathlon and gran fondos. Her appreciation of sound body/sound mind greatly motivates her desire to help a patient return to, or participate in the activities they enjoy.

Kyla Simpson, RMT

Kyla graduated from Langara College in August 2022. Kyla works to create an inclusive and non-judgemental treatment environment, where the patient and massage therapist can work together to create an effective, collaborative treatment plan. Her approach to massage therapy is simple: she aims to alleviate stress and tension from the body and values meaningful connection with her patients. She recognizes that touch can be a powerful tool in alleviating pain and discomfort, and she values communication and consent as the foundations of treatment. She hopes to build a therapeutic alliance with her patients, where they feel safe and supported by their practitioner. Kyla uses a range of Swedish techniques, myofascial release, Trigger Point therapy and Joint Mobilizations.

Felicity Heaslip, RMT

Felicity has a keen interest in Manual Lymph Drainage and is certified with the Vodder School of Manual Lymph Drainage. She likes to focus her practice on breast cancer rehabilitation helping those get back to function after any type of breast or chest surgery. She has also done continuing education in myofascial techniques, visceral manipulation and some cranial sacral courses. She encourages her patients to wear comfortable clothing to their treatment.

Felicity graduated from The Vancouver College of Massage Therapy in 2015. When Felicity is not treating, you will find her pottering in her garden, cycling around the city, cooking something delicious or enjoying the greater outdoors. Felicity was born and raised in Ireland and moved to Vancouver in 2011.

She loves what she does and gets great fulfilment from being an RMT.

Dr. Debbie Lee, BKin, DrTCM, RAc

Dr. Debbie Lee graduated from Vancouver’s International College of Traditional Chinese Medicine (ICTCMV) from the 5 year Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine program. Her studies include completing a two-month practicum at Taiwan’s China Medical University Hospital, the leading teaching hospital in the country. She is a Registered Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Acupuncturist and Herbalist in good standing with the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists of British Columbia (CTCMA).

Debbie successfully treats a wide variety of disorders including stress management, sleep disturbances such as insomnia, and allergy elimination using the NAET® technique,. She also treats digestive disturbances, flu & colds prevention, women’s disorders including PMS, hormonal imbalances, painful / irregular periods and menopause, as well as energy fluctuations such as chronic fatigue.

Incorporating her Kinesiology background and Dr. Richard Tan’s Balance Method, Debbie effectively treats and provides rehabilitation techniques on any pain issues including sciatica, shoulders, neck and back pain, headaches and migraines, to name a few.

Dr. Tejinder Ghag, ND

Dr. Tejinder K. Ghag is a licensed Naturopathic Physician who is passionate about hearing your unique health story and providing guidance. Dr. Ghag graduated from Simon Fraser University with a Bachelor in Health Sciences and later went on to attend the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto, Ontario where she received her Doctorate of Naturopathy.

A firm believer in individualized health, Dr. Ghag strives to identify the root causes of imbalance. Using a multi-disciplined approach, she has a focus on digestive health, pain management and hormone imbalances.
