Dr. Janey Jim, MSc, DC

Dr. Janey Jim graduated Magna Cum Laude from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC) and has received specialty training in Chiropractic Clinical Sciences. She is a graduate of the University of British Columbia with a Masters in Neuroscience. Dr. Jim was a member of Faculty and a Resource Clinician at CMCC.  She has been published in multiple peer-reviewed journals including Spine, Molecular Vision, and Molecular Brain Research.

Dr. Jim practices with a special focus on perinatal care and fitness. She is also a certified Master’s Active Release Techniques (ART) and Graston Technique provider. Dr. Jim played for UBC Ultimate and competed at national and international championships. She has a special interest in helping female athletes.

Dr. Stephen Mogatas, BSN, DC

Dr. Stephen Mogatas graduated from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College as Students’ Council President. He received numerous awards in recognition of his contributions to the college and the profession. Dr. Mogatas was the official chiropractor for Team Canada Ultimate and attended seven world championships, including the 2013 and 2017 World Games.

Dr. Mogatas is a certified Master’s Active Release Techniques (ART) and Graston Technique provider. He combines his passion for sports science and manual therapy to provide evidence-based treatment for his patients.

Dr. Matthew Ormerod, BHK, DIP SPSC, DC

Dr. Matthew Ormerod graduated from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC) receiving clinical honours. He is a certified Active Release Techniques (ART) and Graston Techniques provider. Matt holds a Bachelor of Human Kinetics from the University of British Columbia and a Sports Science Diploma from Douglas College. His interest is the role that activity and manual therapy plays in an individual’s overall health and performance.

Matt loves spending time around sports teams and individual athletes such as triathletes, runners, cyclists and golfers whenever he can. He feels they are prime examples of the potential for human performance.

Dr. Jamie Magpantay graduated from the University of Western States (UWS) with both her Doctorate of Chiropractic and Bachelor of Science in Biology. She holds additional certifications in Active Release Techniques (ART), Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (SMARTtools), Clinical Neurodynamics, and utilizes cupping therapy. Before her chiropractic training, Dr. Magpantay was studying at Simon Fraser University for her Bachelor’s of Science in Kinesiology. 

Jamie has treated in numerous Crossfit competitions and was one of the team chiropractors for the BCHL’s Vernon Vipers. She combines manual therapy, and exercise therapy that is individualized for each patient. In her spare time, Jamie enjoys hiking, yoga, and Crossfit.

Dr. William Powls, BHKIN, BSC, DC

Dr. William Powls graduated from the University of Western States (UWS) with his Doctorate of Chiropractic and Bachelors of Human Biology. He is a certified Active Release Techniques (ART) and Mckenzie Method (MDT) Lumbar Spine provider. William holds his Bachelor’s of Human Kinetics from the University of British Columbia- Okanagan, where he harnessed his interest for sport injuries and how manual therapy and exercise can allow for an optimal recovery.

William has competed in multiple Olympic Weightlifting competitions and loves spending time at the gym. He has been involved in the sporting community coaching volleyball, Special Olympics, and was the Director of Officials for his local Ringette association. During his free time, William loves to golf and enjoy anything baseball-related.

Dr. Shirtina Quon, BSc, DC

Dr. Shirtina Quon graduated summa cum laude and valedictorian of her class from University of Western States (UWS). Prior to becoming a chiropractor, Dr. Quon earned her Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology from Simon Fraser University and worked as a pedorthic assistant and custom brace fitter for a number of years.

From desk workers to athletes, Dr. Quon enjoys helping people get moving. She is particularly passionate about perinatal care and working with birthing individuals to support a healthy and active pregnancy. By combining diversified adjusting styles, varied soft tissue techniques, as well as gentle mobilization, she believes everyone can benefit from chiropractic care in some shape or form. Tiffany Chao, BBA (Hons), DPT

Tiffany graduated from the University of Melbourne in Australia with her Doctor of Physiotherapy. She has certificates in Matwork Level 1 from The Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute, and Kinesiology Taping Level 1 from Rocktape. As part of her graduating project, she worked with Vision Australia to come up with a sustainable program to increase awareness of eye health and available services in her community.

Tiffany loves working with athletes; before returning to Vancouver, she was the Sports Trainer for the Melbourne University Division 1 Netball Club, and the Melbourne Masters Men’s Football Club. She wants to continue working with athletes and also continue her education to focus on women’s physiotherapy, and pelvic floor physiotherapy. Tiffany loves a good carrot cake and ultimate frisbee. She has competed nationally and internationally with teams in Vancouver and Australia.

Andrea Sinhuber, RMT

Andrea completed her 3000 hour RMT diploma at the Vancouver College of Massage Therapy. She is an active member of the College of Massage Therapists of British Columbia and the Massage Therapy Association of BC. She also practices as a Birth and Postpartum Doula. Treatment techniques Andrea uses include:  myofascial release, craniosacral and osteopathic techniques. She holds an in depth understanding of the emotional and physical transition associated with a pregnant woman’s body and the adjustment to motherhood.

Andrea brings kindness, integrity, compassion, and a great sense of humour to everything she does. When she’s not working hard to help others, she is spending time with her family, cooking, cycling, and hiking in the mountains.

Melissa Lepp, RMT

Melissa brings a calm resonance to her clients with her comforting touch. Perhaps growing up in a small town in Saskatchewan afforded her a natural ability to listen to the body. Her approach is encouraging and her treatment is thorough, as she uses a combination of Myofascial and Trigger point release, Deep Tissue and Swedish Massage.

Melissa has been practicing since 2006. In that time she has treated a variety of concerns including acute injuries, chronic pain, headaches, carpal tunnel, back pain and strains, stress and other disorders. She welcomes pre and post-natal moms to enjoy a massage with the pregnancy cushions which allow for a comfortable and safe massage lying face down on the massage table.

Colin Rey, RMT

Colin completed the Registered Massage Therapy program at Langara College in 2019. During his education, he learned that the human body is complex and would benefit from a holistic approach to improve one’s quality of life and aid in recovery, whether it’s from an injury, chronic pain, or day-to-day stress.
Colin personalizes each treatment by incorporating various modalities such as myofascial release, trigger point therapy, Swedish massage, and joint mobilizations, while focusing on bringing awareness to the body. Outside of clinic, Colin enjoys spending time in nature, listening to podcasts, and trying different foods.

Sascha Lo, RMT

Sascha graduated from VCMT where he obtained his diploma in massage therapy. Prior to that he was enrolled in the Kinesiology program at Langara.  Sascha’s interest in the health sciences originated from his experience with injury and rehabilitation in competitive sports. This pushed him to pursue a career that would help him to empower people to take control over their health through client education, movement coaching, and manual therapy. Sascha enjoys working with clients to set long and short term goals to provide a holistic treatment.

Dr. Debbie Lee, BKin, DrTCM, RAc

Dr. Debbie Lee graduated from Vancouver’s International College of Traditional Chinese Medicine (ICTCMV) from the 5 year Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine program. Her studies include completing a two-month practicum at Taiwan’s China Medical University Hospital, the leading teaching hospital in the country. She is a Registered Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Acupuncturist and Herbalist in good standing with the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists of British Columbia (CTCMA).

Debbie successfully treats a wide variety of disorders including stress management, sleep disturbances such as insomnia, and allergy elimination using the NAET® technique,. Dr. Tejinder K. Ghag is a licensed Naturopathic Physician who is passionate about hearing your unique health story and providing guidance. Dr. Ghag graduated from Simon Fraser University with a Bachelor in Health Sciences and later went on to attend the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto, Ontario where she received her Doctorate of Naturopathy.

Zoë Barton, BKIN, Kinesiologist

Zoë completed her Bachelor of Kinesiology degree at the University of British Columbia. During her studies, she also completed the co-operative education program at Jointworks.

Zoë grew up dancing competitively and is now a teacher who thoroughly enjoys sharing her passion for dance with young children. She is also certified in the Functional Movement Screen, a technique used to identify movement deficiencies and asymmetries.

She is very passionate about the role of exercise in injury prevention and recovery. Zoë is currently a member in good standing with the BC Association of Kinesiologists (BCAK).
