Dr. Janey Jim, MSc, DC

Dr. Janey Jim is a chiropractor with over 20 years of experience. She graduated magna cum laude from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College with specialty training in Chiropractic Clinical Sciences and holds a Master’s degree in Neuroscience from the University of British Columbia. Dr. Jim is certified in perinatal Webster Technique and pediatric chiropractic through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association and collaborates with The Midwifery Group in Vancouver.

Dr. Jim has a special interest in female athletes, having competed at both national and international levels in Ultimate Frisbee. In her clinical practice, she combines gentle joint adjustments with soft tissue techniques such as Active Release Techniques (ART) and the Graston Technique to treat everyday aches, sports injuries, and persistent muscle or nerve issues. She is a certified Master’s-level provider of both ART and Graston and integrates spinal and extremity care with Functional Range Conditioning (FRC), Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA), and Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization (DNS) to support recovery, performance, and mobility for patients of all activity levels.

Dr. Stephen Mogatas, BSN, DC

Dr. Stephen Mogatas graduated from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College as Students’ Council President. He has received numerous awards in recognition of his leadership and contributions to the school and profession. Stephen has been the doctor for Team Canada Ultimate at ten world championships, including the 2013, 2017, 2022 and most recently the 2025 World Games in Chengdu, China. Dr. Mogatas also served as a Director for the The College of Chiropractors of BC for a 3 year term and currently serves on committees for the newly formed College of Complementary Health Professionals of BC (CCHPBC).

Dr. Mogatas is a certified Master’s Active Release Techniques (ART), Selective Functional Movement Systems (SFMA), and Graston Technique provider. He combines his passion for sports science and manual therapy to provide evidence-based treatment for his patients. Dr. Mogatas is also certified as a Complete Concussion Management Practitioner.

Dr. Jamie Magpantay, BSC, DC

Dr. Jamie Magpantay graduated from the University of Western States (UWS) with both her Doctorate of Chiropractic and Bachelor of Science in Biology. She holds additional certifications in Active Release Techniques (ART), Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (SMARTtools), Clinical Neurodynamics, and utilizes cupping therapy. Before her chiropractic training, Dr. Magpantay was studying at Simon Fraser University for her Bachelor’s of Science in Kinesiology. 

Jamie has treated in numerous Crossfit competitions and was one of the team chiropractors for the BCHL’s Vernon Vipers. She combines manual therapy, and exercise therapy that is individualized for each patient. In her spare time, Jamie enjoys hiking, yoga, and Crossfit.

Dr. William Powls, BHKIN, BSC, DC

Dr. William Powls is a licensed chiropractor in Vancouver with a Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the University of Western States (UWS) and a Bachelor’s in Human Kinetics from the University of British Columbia (UBC). His practice focuses on sports injury rehabilitation, soft tissue therapy, and functional movement assessment. He holds Full Body certification in Active Release Techniques (ART®️), is a trained Graston Technique®️ provider, and is certified in Complete Concussion Management (CCMI) and Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA), enabling him to deliver evidence-based, hands-on care tailored to each patient.

Dr. Powls works with athletes, active individuals, and those managing chronic pain or postural issues, helping them move better and feel stronger. His individualized treatment plans integrate manual therapy, movement-based rehabilitation, and injury prevention strategies. Outside the clinic, he stays active through competitive ultimate frisbee and Olympic weightlifting, reflecting his belief in the lifelong value of movement and strength.

Dr. Jack Li, BKin, DC

Dr. Jack Li graduated Cum Laude from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College.  Jack is also a licensed kinesiologist with a Bachelor’s of Kinesiology from University of British Columbia. Jack has certifications in Active Release Techniques (ART), Functional Movement Screens and Complete Concussion Management.

Jack is passionate about helping individuals achieve a higher level of fitness through manual therapy and education. Outside of clinic, Jack enjoys staying active by participating in various sports, particularly ultimate, bouldering and volleyball. Jack competed on the national and international scale with UBC Ultimate.
