Dr. Janey Jim MSc, DC

Dr. Janey Jim graduated Magna Cum Laude from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC) and has received specialty training in Chiropractic Clinical Sciences. She is a graduate of the University of British Columbia with a Masters in Neuroscience. Dr. Jim was a member of Faculty and a Resource Clinician at CMCC.  She has been published in multiple peer-reviewed journals including Spine, Molecular Vision, and Molecular Brain Research.

Dr. Jim is certified in Webster’s Technique with a special focus on perinatal care and fitness. Dr. Jim is also a certified Master’s Active Release Techniques (ART) and Graston Technique provider. She has a special interest in female athletes; having played for UBC Ultimate and competed at national and international championships.

Dr. Stephen Mogatas, BSN, DC

Dr. Stephen Mogatas graduated from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College as Students’ Council President and received numerous awards in recognition for his contributions to the college and the profession. Dr. Mogatas is the official chiropractor for Team Canada Ultimate and attends international championships, most recently the 2017 World Games in Wroclaw, Poland.

Dr. Mogatas is a certified Master’s Active Release Techniques (ART) and Graston Technique provider. He combines his passion for sports science and manual therapy, to provide evidence-based treatment for his patients.

Dr. Matthew Ormerod, BHK, DIP SPSC, DC

Dr. Matthew Ormerod graduated from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC) receiving clinical honours. Dr. Ormerod is a certified Active Release Techniques (ART) and Graston Techniques provider. Matt holds a Bachelor of Human Kinetics from the University of British Columbia and a Sports Science Diploma from Douglas College. His interest is the role that activity and manual therapy plays in an individuals overall health and performance.

Matt loves spending time around sports teams and individual athletes such as triathletes, runners, cyclists and golfers whenever he can, as he feels they are prime examples of the potential for human performance.

Dr. Heather Hollman, BSc, DC

Dr. Hollman graduated from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC) receiving academic honours and awards. She is a certified Master’s Active Release Technique (ART) and Graston Technique and previously graduated from the University of Victoria with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. Heather’s special focus is Video Running Gait Analysis and Clinical Pilates, which she integrates into her rehabilitation programs.

Heather spends her free time long distance trail running, practicing yoga, and volunteering with various local running groups as a run leader and injury prevention coach.  She is also currently completing her Master of Rehabilitation Science degree through UBC with a focus on the prevention of running-related injuries.
